A biography of the life of former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly is under construction and will be produced by Luv Films.

Ganguly, affectionately known as Dada, is one of the most successful jumpers in the history of Indian cricket and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Indian Cricket Control (BCCI).

Ganguly confirmed the news on social media with the headline “Let’s get this ball roll”.

“Cricket has been all in my life, it gave me the confidence and the ability to walk forward with my head raised, a journey to be cherished.

“Excited to share Luv Films will produce my biography on my journey and bring it to life on the big screen,” the former captain said on Instagram.

The production facility Luv Films, founded by filmmaker Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, also shared the film ad on social media.

“We are pleased to announce that Luv Films is producing a biography of Dada Sourav Ganguly.”

“We are honored to have this responsibility and look forward to a great innings.”
