While Emma Raducanu has shot one of the greatest achievements in astronomy in tennis and stamped her name on the sports record books, the 18-year-old is not just a racket.
A Kent teenager has only played tennis at the age of 5, but considers it just one of his many sports as well as golf, skiing and ping pong.
His parents, Ian and Renee, who both work in finance, wanted to make sure he stayed balanced and that his hobbies also included karting and motocross, as he is still dedicated to studying alongside tennis.
Emma broke her way to the UK tennis court by making a Wimbledon fourth-round wild card, but it was in the US Open final last night, where she confirmed her position as one of the sports.
Raducanu had to make it to the big tournament in the qualifying rounds because he didn’t have a high enough value. won Wimbledon in 1977.
But Raducanu is not far from overnight success, as he began playing tennis at the age of five, three years after he came with his family from Toronto, Canada.

The Bromley Tennis Center was the next port where he trained between the ages of 10 and 16, while Newstead Wood High School, which also produced world champion Dina Asher-Smith, also made a significant contribution to his sports training.
Not that Raducanu needed a lot of encouragement and had a variety of interests in go-karting, motocross, horseback riding, tap-dancing, golf, skiing and basketball.
The teen regularly shares photos and videos on her social media pages showing her various sports.

Outside of tennis, Raducanu is a bit of a petrol head and considers F1 and motocross his biggest passions.
At the ages of five and eight, he practiced go-karting and started in the Streatham line garage before moving to the right track – and from the age of nine he also did motocross and has shared childhood images of himself with baby Kawasaki.
In his spare time, he still likes to do both go-karting and motocross – although it feels like he may have a hard time finding time for the stars to climb.
Following his success at Wimbledon, Pirelli welcomed Raducanu to the track during the British GP and he shared impressive footage of his ride in the McLaren 720 series, describing the experience as a “delicacy”.
And in China, where her mother was born and Emma visits every year, the teenager is better known for her skills as a ping pong point.
According to the Times, Emma made annual trips to her mother’s hometown of Shenyang before the pandemic and practiced regularly at the city’s ping club.

The club’s director, Tian Fangzheng, described Raducanu as an excellent player, adding: “When all the other children were tired, he wasn’t.”
Tian told the Times Raducanu’s mother mentioned that her daughter was also a “pretty good” tennis player.
“You can tell he has tennis moves while playing ping pong,” he said. “ He took up the sport very quickly and you can say that he is an athletic person. ”
Raducanu has shared videos on his Instagram page showing his impressive ping-pong skills.
His success in tennis has been due to many things, such as dedication and hard work, but athleticism has undoubtedly played a part.
British teammate Heather Watson commented on her sheer strength and says she has been regularly left open in her mouth for the weight she can lift.

A 5’9-inch teen fan shares clips of her grueling strength training on her Instagram, and Watson points out that Emma can pull 200kg – which she says “ most guys couldn’t do. ”
Raducanu is not new in comparison to the boys and told the October issue of British Vogue: “Size [tennis] The team I belonged to were all boys.
