OLDSMAR, Fla. “Boltsmar” is one of the outdoor fields in the Gulf of Tampere thanks to the cooperation between the city and the Tampa Bay Lightning Foundation.
The course is located in Oldsmar Sports Center, between Tampa and Curlew Roads.
It is an opportunity for children and adults to learn to play outdoor hockey.
“I will tell you the best benefit we got from this was the relationship with Lightning. They are amazing in the community,” Oldsmar Mayor Alan Braithwaite said. “And part of the commitment wasn’t just financial, they agreed to help us organize the league, they perform, they bring players and alumni, they make clinics.”
