No. 4 Men’s golf finished sixth after the first day at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational

FORT WORTH, Texas The No. 4 Texas Men’s Golf team carded a 36-hole total of 6-over-571 (285-826) on Monday to stay in sixth place after the opening day of the Colonial Country Club’s Colonial Collegiate Invitational. Senior Pierceson Coody released 1-over-par 141 (70-71) to accelerate Longhorns and is tied for 12th in individual series after the first 36 holes.

The Colonial Collegiate Invitational’s 15-team field includes 10 teams that ranked in the top 25 in the latest Division I Bushnell Golfweek Coaches survey (September 17).
