Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Tuesday the national team’s start schedule for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The Pakistani team, led by Babar Azam, will leave the country on 15 October on a charter flight.
According to the details, players participating in the national T20 World Cup will move from one bubble to another after the event.
The expected World Cup begins on October 17 and the final will be played on November 14.
All members of the national team support staff will gather in Lahore on October 8 and will be quarantined for seven days at a local hotel in Lahore.
Bowling consultant Vernon Philander will arrive in Pakistan on October 7 and join the team in the United Arab Emirates. He travels with the national team to the United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, batting consultant Matthew Hayden will join the UAE national team.
The Cricket Board has allowed all members of the national team to take their families with them to the United Arab Emirates.
The PCB has not yet officially announced the names of the support team members who will be involved in the national team in the United Arab Emirates.
According to sources, the cricket government has decided to appoint Saqlain Mushtaq as head of support staff.
Saqlain Mushtaq, field coach Abdul Majeed and strength and fitness coach Drix Simon are also traveling with the team to the UAE’s biosafety Bubble, sources said.

PCB to make changes to the team
However, after the devastating performances of some of the players selected for the ICC Men’s T20 World Championships at the National T20 Cups, sources said Pakistani voters have decided to make important changes to the 15-member team.
According to sources, former Pakistani captain Shoaib Malik is likely to be selected for the team, while aggressive strikers Azam Khan and Sohaib Maqsood will be dismissed.
Mohammad Hasnain’s chances of retaining his place on the team also look bleak due to his poor performance in the ongoing National T20 Cup.
