Australian players are supporting the national team in the threat that the test with Afghanistan will be stopped if the Taliban government bans women from playing cricket, white ball captain Aaron Finch has said.
Cricket Australia announced it would cancel a test on November 27 in Hobart if reports of South Asian women being banned from playing the game.

Australian Test captain Tim Paine said last month that teams might refuse to play Afghanistan at the World Cup, and questioned how the International Cricket Council, the global governing body of the sport, could penalize their participation in the tournament.
The International Criminal Court will discuss Afghanistan and women’s cricket at its next board meeting during the World Cup.
Finch declined to say whether Australia would feel comfortable playing Afghans at the World Cup, which they would not meet unless both teams advanced at least in the semi-finals.
