Paul Farbrace: Warwickshire Cricket Director as Abu Dhabi T10 League Coach

Warwickshire cricket manager Paul Farbrace will coach the Abu Dhabi team in the upcoming T10 League in the United Arab Emirates.

Farbrace, 54, and coach Mark Robinson recently directed Warwickshire County championship and Bob Willis Trophy double.

He is the head coach of the Abu Dhabi team, including Lancashire and England’s multi-skilled Liam Livingstone.

“The Abu Dhabi T10 has quickly established itself as one of the game’s leading short form tournaments,” Farbrace said.

“Many of the world’s best players participate every year, and this is a great opportunity to work closely with them.

“Getting to know how players approach this kind of explosive competition is going to be fascinating, and I hope this competition becomes a lot to learn that I can bring back to Edgbaston to support our development as a T20 team.”

The tournament, which involves eight teams, has been played four times before, most recently by the Delhi Bulls in February.
