Shane Warne has brutally swept Victoria’s quarantine restrictions after announcing plans to return home for the Australian Cricket Summer.
King of Spin plans to fly back from his London base to prepare for ash once England has confirmed the series continues “in a number of critical circumstances”.

However, Warne has sought what he describes as “inhumane” quarantine restrictions imposed on Victorians.
Can I do a home quarantine in Victoria now that I’ve been double vaccinated, or is it still inhumane 14 days of hotel quarantine in a small little room like all the residents returning home have had to do? The Test Great has tweeted to his followers.
Victoria requires citizens returning to the state during the 14-day quarantine period at the hotel’s own expense, and there are currently no plans to introduce home quarantine, as is being tried in New South Wales.
With 80 percent of Victorians over the age of 16 double-vaccinated, the state plans to review these restrictions for international travelers.
Victoria also plans to review its interstate travel policy when the double vaxx figure reaches 70 per cent, but recent figures show that just under 60 per cent of 16-year-olds and older have been hit by two attacks across the state.
While Warne might have hoped he could be quarantined at home after returning from London, the Victorian government does not grant exemptions for double vaccination.
Warnen’s criticism comes when the frightening Delta outbreak continues to destroy Victoria, and another huge spike in cases that lead to record states and countries.
On Saturday, the Department of Health announced another 1965 locally acquired Covid-19 case and five other deaths.
The total number of cases is the largest daily increase in all states since the onset of a pandemic.
The English cricket government has addressed similar concerns as Warne, as it has just given the Ashes tour the Australian green light in a number of circumstances.
English accepts ash in ‘circumstances’
Earlier in the week, there were reports that English players had agreed to participate in the $ 200 million series despite concerns about Australian closures and quarantine.
These concerns have raised serious questions about whether the iconic series, which is set to begin on December 8 in Brisbane, will continue.
The Cricket Committee of England and Wales (ECB) issued a statement on Friday in which it dispelled any doubts, but stressed that a number of key measures still needed to be agreed.
“In recent weeks, we have made excellent progress on the English men’s ash tour,” the ECB said in a statement on Friday.
“In order to promote progress and allow the selection of the group, the Executive Board of the ECB met today and approved the continuation of the tour.
“This decision requires a number of critical conditions to be met before traveling.
“We look forward to Cricket Australia’s continued assistance in resolving these issues in the coming days.”
The ECB’s statement did not specify what the “critical circumstances” were, but England’s main point of contention seems to have been whether the team’s family members could join during the Australian celebrations.
According to reports, they could be quarantined at the Gold Coast Resort in Queensland before the first test, while their families arriving for Christmas could be accommodated at the Yarra Valley Resort before the Melbourne Boxing Day test.
The green light for the tour has only emerged after lengthy negotiations between the two countries – even at the highest level.
The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson raised the issue with Scott Morrison last month, while the Australian Prime Minister contacted Captain during the Pressure tour.
