Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) locked the horns in the IPL 2021 Eliminator at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday (October 11).

The Knight Riders were expected to chase the goal easily, but they were forced to work hard to win. While openers Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer made 29 and 26 receptive during the chase, a pair of Nitish Rana (23) and Narinea (26) were injured in a handy twenties middle class.
The duo, who need the last two laps, the experienced captain Eoin Morgan (5) and Shakib Al Hasan (9) ensured the KKR crossed the line with four rackets in hand and two balls.
Following this result, Kolkata was eligible to play for the Delhi Capitals in the second qualifier on Wednesday (October 13), while the RCB dropped out of the tournament.
Cricket experts on Twitter praised Morgan and the company for their impressive start in an important game when they were critical of RCB’s performance.
