The Lanka Premier League 2021 starts on 05th December 2021 RPICS, Colombo, and the opening match will be played between Gallen and Jaffna starting at 7.30pm.
The first round of the tournament, consisting of 20 games, will be played at RPICS, Colombo, before moving to MRICS, Hambantota to continue the final round of games.
The league finals will be played on the 23rdrd December 2021 MRICS, Hambantota, while this year’s tournament is 24th December, a spare day dedicated to the finals.
The Lanka Premier League 2021, Sri Lanka’s top domestic tournament with an international flavor, consists of 24 games and is attended by top domestic and international cricketers.
In the final round of games, the top two teams at the scoreboard will play in Qualifier 1, while the teams ranked 3rd and 4th in the table will play in the eliminator.
The winner of Qualifier 1 will advance directly to the final, while the loser of Qualifier 1 will play in Qualifier 2 against the winner of Qualifier 2 and the winner of that game will advance to the final.
