The Chinese GP, who has been on the calendar but canceled for consecutive years, has been replaced by the Emilia Romagna GP in Imola for the fourth race of 2021. There is also no place in Portugal or Turkey.

While the 2022 calendar has one new name, the Miami GP in May – America hosted two races on the calendar for the first time since 1984.

The Bahrain GP will start the season again on March 20, followed this weekend by the Saudi Arabian GP, ​​who will make his debut as the second final race of the 2021 campaign on the new Jeddah street track.

F1 then hopes to return to Melbourne’s Albert Park for the third round two years without an Australian race after he has typically attended the season opener.

Emilia Romagna GP at Imola, who has thrown exciting races since returning to F1 in 2020, is next ahead of the Miami GP inauguration and race around Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.

The European season then begins in earnest with May’s traditional Spanish and Monaco GPs, the latter of which is now in normal three-day form, before Azerbaijan-Canada double-headed after the sport ended in Baku and Montreal.

The British GP will be held on July 10 on the same day as the men’s Wimbledon final.

According to F1 boss Stefano Domenical, the new F1 Sprint format will be used in a third of the planned 2322 2022 calendar.

After the summer break, two triple headlines are planned, the first in Europe in Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy – as we saw this year – and the second in Russia, Singapore and Japan.

The popular Singapore and Japan Games in Marina Bay and Suzuka have not been held since 2019.

The season then begins with a championship race against Austin, the United States and Mexico, as well as Brazil and Abu Dhabi. F1 2022 ends on November 20, which is an early end after 2010, as the campaign ends the day before the start of the Qatar World Cup.

The Qatar race, while making its F1 debut on this year’s calendar, will be out of 2022 before the 10-year contract begins after the season.

F1 has not yet clarified how many of the 23 rounds have a Sprint format whereby qualifiers are postponed to Friday before Saturday’s mini-race sets the grid for Sunday’s Grand Prix.

However, Domenicali told Sky Sports F1 last month that the format – which has been on display in Silverstone and Monza so far this year and will be used again in Brazil – should fill a “third” by 2022, suggesting seven or eight weekends.
