Mourinho focused 100% on Roma project despite emotional connection to Newcastle

Jose Mourinho has excluded himself from Newcastle’s work amid rumors linking him to his position since the recent coup.

Steve Bruce’s work is believed to be under threat right after the start of a bad season when Newcastle have played seven matches without a win.

He concludes his 1000th match as manager on Sunday against Tottenham Hotspur but the search for his successor is said to be underway, and several great names have been attached to the work.
