Ben Morgan and Gloucester deny first victory of London Irish season Premier league

In his first round, his opponent 22 in the 23rd minute of Gloucester took his first points with a simple penalty from Hastings and the half soon added a new one.

The Irish continued to rule unilaterally in the first half, but they were unable to increase their numbers, so the guests were very lucky when they were only between 14 and 6.

There was an early drama in the second half as Curtis Rona grabbed a loose ball and sailed the line. Freddie Clarke blocked the center, but Mark Atkinson dived to prevent recycling. Atkinson was immediately sent to the coffin, and Jackson kicked the penalty.

Gloucesters ’grief continued when replacement props Harry Elrington, a former Irish player, had to leave the field injured and Rapava-Ruskin returned to replace him.

Irish lock Steve Mafi got a yellow card for pulling Mauli and Gloucester made a capital letter as soon as Morgan finished the line change before Jackson managed a great shot from inside his own half.

Atkinson returned from the sin box in time to see his side point a second time while trying a copy of the first and Morgan again. Ireland looked difficult as Rees-Zammit took his input from home game Nick Phipps to run 75 yards and scored a goal, but the hosts leveled off when Rogerson forced his way after Ollie Hassell-Collins and Jackson’s run, the touch line transformation sails very wide.

Gloucesters head coach George Skivington said: the Irishman came out shooting and we were slow outside the blocks when we were careless in getting into two early attempts. We didn’t complete the five-meter alignment just before the break, and that summed up our first-half performance.

We did just so much that we didn’t let it completely out of us because our defense was heroic. We had warriors, and it was a day to roll up our sleeves. Lewis Ludlow worked tirelessly throughout the game, but haunted towards the end.
