NAIROBI, Oct 18 (Reuters) – A Kenyan court on Monday allowed police to detain long-distance runner Agnes Tirop’s husband for 20 days for murder, KTN News reported.

Tirop’s husband Ibrahim Rotich was charged with murder in court in the town of Rift Valley in Iten, near their common home. Police told the court they would take the time to complete the investigation and conduct a mental assessment of the suspect.
