Football to face the wildcats for another live game on Saturday in Ellensburg

ELLENSBURG, Pese. The only thing that separated the two teams from playing in opposing weeks against each other was hello week. The West Oregon University football team has just hosted downtown Washington at McArthur Field on Oct. 9, and this Saturday, Oct. 23, the Wolves will travel to Ellensburg to meet the Wildcats again at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference starting at 6 p.m.

Both teams had a break last week and hey week and are now playing each other for the second time in October. At the last meeting, WOU started strongly to get a six-yard goal count Omari Land move to 7-0 in the middle of the first quarter.

Central Washington returned with 42 unanswered points and eventually took the win 45-14.

Ryan Worthley threw 122 yards, with Awning Sampson took two passes for 38 yards. Andrew Valladares increased three catches to 31 yards and Damon Hickok catch 23 yards. Land rushed 66 yards on the field and scored a goal. Valladares hurried 61 yards and painted. Jaylin Parnell led the defense with 10 fights and a sack. Joey Sinclair He had eight fights and an abduction. Anthony Mack Jr. was seven in three matches. LJ Lovelace, Mack Little, Hector Cazares and Twister McComas everyone had losses.

The WOU will move to week 2-4 in its entirety and 1-1 in the GNAC game with just a match against Central Washington and a week after Simon Fraser remaining in the conference section of the schedule. The Wolves have scored 99 points, 118 first downs and 2,062 yards in the attack with 13 touches. WOU has thrown 1,305 yards and three goals, while rushing 762 yards and 10 goals. Opponents have scored 177 points, 112 downhill and 2,117 yards and 24 touches. In the air, opponents have traveled 1,157 yards and 11 touches, while rushing 1,003 yards and 11 goals.

Worthley has made 126-197 1262 during the season with a dock and three touches. Wyatt Harsh and Gannon Winker have also seen time as a quarterback this season, with Harsh making 6-11 and Winker 3-4. Thomas Wright has 26 catches for 296 yards and a goal. Valladares has 19 catches at 235 yards. Sampson, Judge Murphy, Jarren Ford and Hickok has more than 100 yards this season, of which Sampson is 163, Murphy 158, Ford 154 and Hickok 151. On land, Land has rushed 109 times with 523 yards and seven touches. Valladares adds 35 moves by 226 yards and two points.

Parnell leads the defense with 45 fights (28 solos), 11 defeats, 4.5 sacks, two forced failures, two assists and a blocked field goal. Ryan Minniti add 37 fights (23 alone) and two losses. Sinclair adds 31 matches (20 solos), two abductions and a fumble recovery. Curtis Anderson is fourth on the team with 25 fights (10 alone), 1.5 losses and three quarterback rushes. Machiah Lee gives Wolves five players with at least 20 battles 23 (12 solos) as well as six assists. Little, Lovelace, Derek Moreland, McComas and Mason Brown all have assisted or alone sacks this year along with Parnell. Billy Nelson lead the team in cuts by three.

In special groups, Andrew Gross is punting 26 times averaging 39.27, long at 65 yards, six lands within 20’s and three distances over 50 yards. Field paints, Danny Cossette is 3-5 and 12-12 in extra point attempts. Initially, Gross has six with an average of 59.7 yards, Cossette with four with an average of 50.5 yards Tanner Shattuck 11 averaging 50.5 meters. After returning, Sampson has taken 10 points back by 73 yards and 39 yards. In the early stages, Anderson has 16 returns at 296 yards, a long 38 yards, while Sampson has nine kick-offs at 200 yards and a long 52 yards.

Nationally, the WOU is nationally high in several categories, including 57^th in the fourth downward percentage of earnings (52.9), 26^th completion rate (62.8), 39^th in the first deflections allowed in defense (112), 28^th of the total number of abductions discarded (4), 60^th overtaking yards allowed per game (192.8), 40^th in the red zone defense percentage (71.4) and 59^th during possession (30:42).

Individually, the Land is 67^th nationally per match (7.0), 85^th total points (42) and 48^th in total paints (7). Anderson is 61 years old^st combined kickback rollers (296) and 87^th with starting return rollers per match (18.5). Sampson is 70^th in combined kickback docks (273), 46^th starting return rollers per match (22.2) and 38^th pounds on return rollers per match (7.3). Worthley is 23^rd completion rate (64), 22^second matches per match (21), 71^st past the docks (1262) and 59^th feed yards per match (210.3). Cossette is 95^th field goals per game (.50). Parnell is 22^second in forced fumble matches (.33), 51^st in bags per match (.75), 14^th in the fight against losses (1,8) and 98^th total number of matches per match (7.5). Little and Moreland are tied at 96^th in forced fumble matches (.20). Sinclair is 70^th fumbles recovered (1), and 65^th matches per match (.30). Nelson is 17^th matches per match (.60). Lee is 71^st in defended feeds (1.0). Gross is 65^th with a punting mean (37.8).

Central Washington starts the week 4-2 overall and 2-0 in GNAC. This is their third home game of the season, 1-1 winning a big win over nationally ranked Midwestern State and not falling behind Angelo State.

During the season, the Wildcats have collected 200 points, collected the first 115 downhills and received 2,221 yards and 25 touchdowns. In the air, CWU has passed 1,186 yards and 13 touchdowns, but rushed 1,052 yards and 11 goals. Opponents have 149 points, 109 first downs and 2,173 yards and 19 goals. In the air, opponents have missed 1,256 yards and six touches, while they rushed to 951 yards and 12 goals.

Quincy Glasper took over as the main player a few games ago and has completed 28-48 with 445 yards and six touches. JJ Lemming, who started the first games of the season, has completed 45-106,634 yards and five touches. Darius Morrison has 10 catches at 247 yards and five touches. Tony Archie gives the team two over 200 yards received, 11 assists for 211 yards and a score. JoJo Hillel (183), Daniel Johnson (159), Tai-John Mizutani (132) and Samuel Sanchez (115) have gotten over 100 yards this season. On the field, Rashaad Boddie has 93 positions at 540 yards and four touches. Tyler Flanagan adds 40 positions for 237 yards and three goals.

In defense, Jahleel Breland leads the team with 49 fights (32 solos), defeat fights and three assists. Donte Hamilton adds 46 matches (32 solos), 10 loss losses, four sacks and five abductions. Zach Stecklein leads the team in sacks by five and Dominic Wieburg adds two abductions.

In special teams, Van Soderberg has 19 points averaging 36 yards, six arriving at 20 and one over 50 yards. Patrick Hegarty has 10 points averaging 36.90 yards, one of which lands 20 yards and a long pound 44 yards. In field paints Hegarty is 8-11 and 50 meters long. At the starting points, Hegarty has 28 companies averaging 53.2 yards and Soderberg has 11 companies averaging 56.5 yards. In the rebates, Michael Chisley leads the starting rebates and takes eight back with 199 yards, a long 51 yards. In pound returns, Hunter Eckstrom has one return at 21 yards.

The last time the teams met in Ellensburg during the 2019 season, the WOU won their first win in Central Washington then with a 1998 win of 36-26.
