Yoga guru Ramdev has said the cricket match between India and Pakistan on Sunday is against “national interest,” the PTI reports.
Cricket teams from the two countries will play against each other in the UAE as part of the T20 World Cup.
Ramdev has joined those demanding the cancellation of the match because there are a lot of military attacks against civilians in Jammi and Kashmir.
“Cricket and terrorism cannot be played at the same time,” a yoga guru said on Saturday. He answered the question of whether he thought it was right to hold the match.

In the Union, fighters have killed as many as 11 civilians this month, including migrant workers. The resistance, believed to be a branch of the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, has taken responsibility for most of the killings.
Political leaders have also opposed the match between India and Pakistan. On Tuesday, Aam Aadmi’s MLA Atishi said it was not right for India to play cricket with Pakistan unless the attacks on Indian soil and the targeting of citizens stopped.
The MLA added that even Prime Minister Narendra Modi would agree that cricket matches between India and Pakistan should not take place.
“When the prime minister was in opposition, he repeatedly asked why we played cricket with Pakistan as a neighboring country continued terrorism in India,” he said.
Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi criticized the center for the situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Poor workers in Bihar are being killed [in Kashmir], Said the head of the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen throughout India. “Targeted murders are taking place. What are the intelligence service and [Home Minister] What does Shah do? The weapons are coming to India. Are you playing a match [in this situation]? “
However, the Indian Cricket Control Board has refused to cancel the match. “As for the match, it’s an international commitment,” board vice chairman Rajeev Shukla said.
