Game One: Penn State 4, Ohio State 0
In the first half of the game, the attack on the field was slow. Both Penn State and Ohio State struggled to find a network.
At the end of the first, Penn State got his first penalty angle, but it became nothing. Less than two minutes later, Sophia Gladieux scored, and Anna Simon helped 1-0. This score was maintained at halftime.
In the third quarter, neither team saw much activity. However, the Nittany Lions really started to heat up in the fourth.
Gladieux, assisted by Jemma Punch, hit again at 12:17 and turned the situation 2-0. This attack continued when Penn Staten Bree Bednarski scored 6:24 and Mackenzie Allessie scored again for Nittany Lions with just five seconds left.
The Nittany Lions were very effective with the shots and went 4: 9, but gave the Buckeyes only one shot in the final win.
Penn State then ended the game and left Columbus with a 4-0 win.
