Euro 2022 draw: The English women’s team will face Norway; Germany, the Netherlands draw and much more

England have played for Norway, Austria and Northern Ireland in their 2022 Women’s European Championships.

Sarina Wiegman’s offspring placed in pot one and have never won the competition as they have been second twice in 1984 and 2009.

Northern Ireland, meanwhile, will compete in their first major tournament and survive the playoffs along with Switzerland. Kenny Shiels ’team placed in pot four and will face England on July 15 at St. Mary’s Stadium in Southampton.

As the host, England has been drawn to Group A and will play the opening of the tournament at Old Trafford against Austria on Wednesday, July 6th.

Block B seems to be the most difficult lottery, with Germany, Spain and Denmark being the top three countries on the continent.

The final will be played at Wembley Stadium on July 30th.
