Shake Milton makes his season debut against the Pistons, with Joel Embiid playing

The Philadelphia 76ers will return home Thursday against the Detroit Pistons to start a 4-match home state, and they’ll get confirmation here.

After missing the first four games of the season due to a right ankle sprain, Shake Milton will make his season debut against the Pistons on Thursday. The Sixers have needed another ball handler as Tyrese Maxey is still in development, so Milton is a big help to them.

Joel Embiid also continues to sore his right knee and also plays in the game. The big man doesn’t seem to have a good reason to work through it, but it shows that he wants to be there for his friends.

The Sixers are working to recover from a loss to the New York Knicks on Tuesday, so it’s helpful to get Milton on the scene to help the team get back on track. The emblem should feel motivated for its own recovery, including individually.

The Sixers and Pistons leave the EDT Wells Fargo Center at 7 p.m.
