Thursday night football: Preston Smith, DeAndre Hopkins are active

The Cardinals have no edge rusher JJ Watt, who needs surgery that is likely to end his season when his biceps, labrum and rotator cuff are torn and his shoulders are moved. But they have a receiver DeAndre Hopkins Thursday night football.

Hopkins was questionable because of a femoral injury when he was away from exercises all week.

He has 33 receptions this season, 420 yards and seven touchdowns in the undefeated Cardinals.

Tight head Darrell Daniels (hamstring) also calls after it is listed as questionable.

In addition to Watts, the Cardinals ’other inactive are quarterbackers Chris Streveler, receiver Andy Isabella, run back There’s Benjamin, downtown Max Garcia (Achilles) and the defending lineman Rashard Lawrence (calf).

The Cardinals will begin the third series at the Center Sean Harlow.

Packers is missing several key players, but they have a previous rusher Preston Smith. Smith didn’t play last week due to an oblique injury and was listed as questionable for tonight’s game.

Green Bay has no corner defender Kevin King (shoulder / back).

Other inactive Packers are linebacks Jaylon Smith, security Vernon Scott, linebacker La’Darius Hamilton, offensive Takla Dennis Kelly (rear) and defensive lineman Jack Heflin. Receivers Davante Adams and Allen Lazard missed from the COVID-19 reserve list.
