TUNIS (Tunisia): The Indian table tennis duo, G Sathiyan and Harmeet Desai, won Emmanual Lebesson and Alexandre Cassini in the top 3-1 and won the men’s doubles championship at the WTT Contender in Tunis on Saturday.
Sathiyan and Desai defeated the French duo 11-9, 4-11, 11-9, 11-6.
The Indian duo bagged the first game, but they lost momentum and let the French pair equalize the match.
However, Sathiyan and Desai grabbed back by taking the lead again and then barely sweat won the fourth game and the title.
