Grand Slam champion Sofia Kenin said Tuesday that her father has returned to his coaching team after the couple resigned earlier this year.
The 22-year-old was shocked by the world of tennis as he defeated Garbine Muguruza and won the 2020 Australian Open and rose to the top of the world rankings in the world.
However, after several disappointments earlier this year, he said he resigned as coach with his father Alex Kenin.

“This year has been a very bumpy road for me,” he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.
“I’m finally back to training and doing what I love! I’m glad I have a father in my life who has always been through my support and the law.
“I’m excited that he’s part of my team and I’m very excited to get back on the field to compete next year.”
Ken had to withdraw from the US Open this year after receiving a positive COVID-19 test despite vaccination.
