As every week, we close this week’s Start / Sit column by answering app users ’questions in a fast-paced style.
Do you have more Start / Sit questions? Leave them in the comments. I try to spend a few hours there on Friday and / or Saturday and respond as much as possible.
Dak vs. Lamar? Who do I start week 10 in the PPR League with? Help! – @ legaleagle1879
This is one of those cases where a smart player would buy one of these high quality quarterback players to upgrade another spot. While both quarterbacks should have good games in the top 10 teams in Week 10, Jackson’s ability to gather on his feet gives him an edge over Prescott.
Darrel Williams or Damien Harris.5 PPR? THANK YOU! – @vpetronelli
This is a question that might answer for itself – starting Wednesday, Harris was still In the NFL Concussion Protocol. If he can clear the record before Sunday’s home date with Cleveland Browns, he will easily beat Williams. Harris has two 100-yard rushes in the last four games and has scored a goal every week since week 5. Keep an eye out for Clyde Edwards-Helaire this week as well. If he returns to action on Sunday, Williams ’fantasy value will be a huge hit.
PPR. (Amari) Cooper or (Tyler) Lockett? – @ don_dukes230
There will be a lot of joy among fantasy executives over Tyler Lockett’s shares if Russell Wilson returns to action (as expected) in week 10. However, while Wilson is in the middle, Lockett remains the king of the recipients of the celebration or famine. Cooper may have a slightly lower ceiling than Lockett, but he is unlikely to disappear and will get a better match with the Atlanta Falcons.
Need flexibility between Elijah Moore and Rashod Bateman. .25 PPR. Thank you! – @ st99
After Moore’s week 9 explosion (seven grabs 84 yards and two points), Moore was a hot commodity in the abandonment thread this week. The ad The fact that Mike White will start on Sunday is also good news, but this is a brutal match for broad opponents against the Bills League’s leading passing defense. Steer Bateman against a struggling Miami secondary, allowing for the fourth most PPR points per game for the broad player.
Should I go with (Patrick) Mahomes or apply for (Derek) Carr or (Carson) Wentz? – @ awesp11
Of course I may regret this – the Kansas City attack has been an explosive mess for much of this season. But at some point, that attack escapes the funk mode and gets a big game. There is just too much talent there. Carr and Wentz both have a favorable match this week, but I’m just not quite ready to throw in the towel against Mahomes.
Full PPR. Flexibility is needed. (Donovan) Peoples-Jones, Russell Gage or Alex Collins? – @Piccacco
The Peoples-Jones got a long touchdown against Bengals last week, but Baker Mayfield hit him only three times. Back in week 8, Gage played the entire game without being targeted once. If Carson returns to the field in week 10, he’s an easy “yes” to Seahawks ’lead. If Carson is on the sidelines for another week, roll a dice that Peoples-Jones can roll another long.
Let’s start with Colts D or Ravens D? – @ alexbrock02
This is a scenario where there really is no wrong answer. The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars are both among the top six in the team’s fantasy points allowed for defense. But in addition to allowing the the most points in the defenses are a Good chance that Jacoby Brissett makes another start for Fins against Ravens. Baltimore is a play.
