After spending four seasons with the series, Patrick Beverley entered the Staples Center as an opponent of the LA Clippers for the first time since Chris Paul bought him in 2017.

As the Clippers were moving out of the Lob City era, franchising had very little direction. Since the age of their line-up was not relatively young, even though their cores were abandoned, the team seemed to try to “rebuild the tool” instead of “rebuilding.” Such a strategy will only work if the players on the list create a culture that attracts the next big free agent, and that’s exactly what Patrick Beverley helped do.
Although he is now an opponent, the Clippers and their fans always love Pat Bev and the timeless influence he had on this game series.
