Tennis table top encounter in front Times

After five rounds of tennis in Great Southern, the top two teams in the competition will face off this Saturday from bragging, and both teams will go into the match in strong form.

Last Saturday, both Goolwa and Inman Valley didn’t let their opponents Back Valley and Victor Harbor win the set.

Goolwa demolished a different-looking Back Valley, although its opponents tried to cause a shock.

Inman’s Bree Leibhardt and rising star Ella Watters collaborated for the first time and succeeded in their doubles, while meetable David Giltinan showed he still has enough class to withstand Victor Jakob Arbon.

Victor’s Ben Hattam and plump Maryka pushed their opponents hard in their singles, but in the end, Inman was too strong.

In the second match, Port Elliot defeated Myponga-Sellicks by 4 rubberers 2.

The match was tight and the difference between the teams was just one round and four games.

Jack Pacitti and Adrian Clarke, in Myponga-Sellicks, took the battle for the home team, winning the doubling, Pacitti won a great duel and Clarke fell in a tight match against Charlie Vincent.

The Port Elliot women responded in the same way as Kathryn Witcombe and Julianne Lowrey won the marathon in the double supertiebreaker and matched their Myponga-Sellicks match.

For the sixth-round match, where teams are now facing their opposition for the second time this season – however, I fear on behalf of Victor Harbor, who plays for Port Elliot, that the result could be the same as that of a Round 1 match.

Port Elliot gave Victor a hammer blow and denied them wins, and Victor is having a hard time making a dent this weekend.

The women’s battle will be a fascinating encounter with lots of long rallies taking advantage of the tumultuous conditions, but this draw will be won by whoever wins the men.

There has been no consistency in male staff on either side, and it may be that there are two different male players on both sides from last week.

Statistics say Myponga-Sellicks perform better than Back Valley in doubles, but Back Valley is better in doubles, and I feel like Back Valley wins this tough fight.

Inman v Goolwa. Second against first. One loss for both teams. Where to start?

Inman beat Goolwa one time last time.

Inman was in full swing when Goolwa missed Mel Ramsey, and if he plays, it will play a big role in this match.

Goolwa has only lost one doubling in the first five rounds, and since there are 2 rubbers in the pot every week before starting the singles game, it’s almost impossible to lose from there.

There are a lot of great races ahead with Goolwan Roach and Inman’s Wilson, both with just one loss, and Goolwan’s fight with Amy Jones and Inman’s Leibhardt is well deserved.

Despite the previous result, Goolwa is playing better tennis.

For Inman to win, he has to win both doubles without dropping a lot, but I don’t see that happening and Goolwa wins nicely.
