CINCINNATIThe women’s basketball team at the University of Cincinnati will welcome the University of Ohio’s Fifth Third Arena to an afternoon mat at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16. It is also a training day for which local schools in the three states will go on excursions to encourage the Bearcats.
SERIES
The Bearcats lead the series 11-8 and last faced the Bobcats on December 13, 1999. UC won 75-74 in that game.
BEARING
Young scorer Akira Levy he was recently selected as the Player of the Week for the American Athletic Conference (November 15) for his performance in the first two games of the season. The record scored a total of 30 points with eight passes and 15 passes and currently leads AAC in both passes and passes.
The Bearcats started the season 2-0 by beating Alabama A&M and Bellarmine. UC looks set to start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2018-19, who was also head coach Michelle Clark-Heardfirst season at Bearcats.

ORDERING KNIGHTS
The Bobcats start the season 2021-22 with wins 0-2 and lose to Notre Dame 105-69 and Liberty 66-63.
The Bobcats will return all five starters and almost all of the bench players from their 2020-21 season to reach the semifinals of the MAC tournament and also play in WNIT. Ohio ended the season with a total of 15-10 in the 2020-21 season and 11-6 in the MAC.
Senior goalkeeper Cece Hooks returns for a second season after testing the WNBA drafting process after last season. He averaged a MAC-best 25.1 points / game on the way to win the MAC Player of the Year last season. Cece Hooks was selected to the 2022 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player Of The Year watch list for her second year in a row, which deserved this recognition.
As a team, Ohio was selected to win the regular season Mid-American Conference championship, which received a total of 132 votes and four first-place votes. The Bobcats also had Cece Hooks and Erica Johnson selected for the pre-season All-MAC First Team.
