DeMar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls hosted the New York Knicks in Illinois on Sunday night, and DeRozan just broke the franchise record.
He is now the player to score the most points in his first 16 matches in the Bulls history.
His 425 points overtook Michael Jordan, who scored 424 points in his first 16 matches with the team as a rookie in the 1984-85 season.
DeRozan began his career at the Toronto Raptors and spent the last several seasons at the Spurs in San Antonio before signing a contract with the Bulls this semester.
So far, the team looks fantastic when he is one of his best scorers.
The quadruple All-Star has teamed up seamlessly with Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball and the rest of the team.
The match for Sunday was the third place in the Eastern Conference.
