TThe international series of the fall of 2021 has been eventful, and the countries of the northern hemisphere have enjoyed amazing success over their increasingly tired southern counterparts. Here is The Breakdowns final year-end report

The best company Waisea Nayacalevu (Fiji). Flying Fijiians didn’t beat Wales with 14 men, but they made the most exciting attempt of the month, a gem of counterattack that followed a quick tap on their own 22 men. Nayacalevus ’unstoppable dive probably deserved this award in itself.
A moment of champagne Romain Ntamack turns a tight defensive position into a great offensive line behind his own line against New Zealand in Paris.
The best male newcomer Marcus Smith is in front of and in the middle of the New England, but 20-year-old Freddie Steward on the wing back hardly put his foot in the wrong.
The best female newcomer Heather Cowell. Two attempts and clever footwork during his test debut from a former gymnast now playing on the England wing.
The biggest disappointment Australia without Samu Kerev, Quade Cooper and Sean McMahon. Their decision to return to their Japanese clubs to practice their pre-season practice took the Wallabies all the momentum together.
Autumn head coach Andy Farrell (Ireland). The improvement in the attitude, sharpness, desire, condition, and intentions of his side has been visible to all.
Best Takla Courtney Lawes. How he managed to get back and catch Telusa Veainu flying to Tonga as he boarded the line was a small miracle.
