Prediction

Maybe KU quarterback Jalon Daniels is simply a magician.

In his first two starts of the season, Daniels has given KU two of the best QB performances in recent history against Texas and TCU in previous weeks. He, more than anyone else, has been the reason KU has been more successful than expected recently.

However, believing he can drive KU in the third week could take a lot, given the team’s current list restrictions.

Due to injuries and wear and tear, the Jayhawks have only one fellow, and they are likely to play only in the positions of tight head and wing defenders on a senior night. Although Andu Kotelnicki, KU’s attack coordinator, has contributed to the success of his journey at MacGyver despite these challenges, it must be understood at some point that KU’s limitations with offensive staff packages and invitations will lead to production disruptions.

KU’s defense is also a cause for concern. Jayhawks have created big games and survived critical quarter-finals in the last two races, but on a game-by-game basis, they are still mostly dominated by opponents in both running and passing situations.

Coach Lance Leipold would surely ride the offseason pace if he could cope with this shock. He won three victories in his first season when Vegas predicted 1-2. Hell, it might even get him a few misleading votes to choose a great coach for the year 12.

However, KU’s current circumstances look like an obstacle that will be hard to overcome on Saturday.
