NFL Week 12 Game Analysis

Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers

After reports released on Sunday Matthew Stafford dealing with chronic back pain and pain in the elbow, he threw six selections in his third consecutive game and struggled hard (-8.5 CPOE), even though he finished in the top five fantasy QBs this week. Stafford will almost certainly survive his injuries, but his clear drop in the game after he was an early MVP favorite now makes more sense. The Rams have dropped three in a row and were the last team to start slowly (scoring in the first quarter) after their goodbye.

Rodgers finished Sunday no. 1 fantasy QB; Stafford was in 2nd place.

Tennessee Titans @ New England Patriots

Sander cannot be trusted as one of the top 25 RBs ahead… Saquon Barkley shows more of a limit on RB2 than a first-round fantasy player at the moment, but things can get better as Giants’ receivers and his ankles get better… It’s hard to show Jason Garrett no longer call games the cause of Sunday’s unrest when New York’s defense came to play… Jalen Reagor made several drops during a really hard game … Philadelphia doesn’t have to get on a plane again during the entire season, while the Giants now play four of the next five on the road.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Indianapolis Colts

Leonard Fournette was easily fantasy’s RB1 this week while facing a Colts defense that got in, allowing the least fantasy points for running defenders. Fournette made a whopping four TDs, like him and Ronald Jones corresponded to the number paints total Indy had previously allowed the entire season … Michael Pittman suffered several drops and there were fewer yards and goals than Ashton Dulin Despite 10x goals … Chris Godwin and Mike Evans both settled in the back seat Rob Gronkowski, which is locked into the top three fantasy TEs.

Joe Mixon has up to 12 touchdowns in his last eight games, he has seen more goals lately and has become a big creator of fantasy differences. Meanwhile, Najee Harris was the biggest (harmless) bust of the week 12… Keeped opponents under 30 points in nine of 10 matches this season, somehow the Steelers lost at halftime 31-3 … Tee Higgins finally broke out on Sunday and was Fantasy’s No. 2 WR this week… Pat Freiermuth scored more goals within the five-yard line (five) in the previous four games than at any other tight spot throughout the season, although the newcomer’s Sunday result came in from 15 yards.

I’m starting to think Ben Roethlisberger may be the downside of his career.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Denver Broncos

It is strange that the chargers remain the same old chargers without it Philip Rivers and a new coaching staff, but they lost on Sunday as a favorite nonetheless Teddy Bridgewater badly compresses while trying to play through a leg injury in a… Hail Mary boundary situation, Justin Herbert went to Jared (Cook).
