HOUSTON (AP) Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (HPE) reported $ 2.55 billion in fiscal quarter results on Tuesday.
The Houston-based company said its net income was $ 1.91 per share. Adjusted for non-recurring gains, earnings were 52 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The seven analysts interviewed by Zacks Investment Research had an average earnings per share of 49 cents.
The IT provider and revenue was $ 7.35 billion during the period, which was not in line with Street forecasts. The five analysts interviewed by Zacks expected $ 7.4 billion.
During the year, the company’s net income was $ 3.43 billion, or $ 2.58 per share, which turned profitable during the period. Revenue was reported at $ 27.78 billion.
For the quarter ending this February, HP Enterprise expects earnings per share to range between 42 cents and 50 cents.
The company expects full-year earnings of $ 1.96 to $ 2.10 per share.
