New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel grabs all 10 places in the test against India | Cricket

New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel has only become the third bowler to have grabbed all 10 innings in a row in international cricket. He achieved his victory against India in the second test at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The 33-year-old joined England off-spinner Jim Laker (1956 against Australia) and Indian cycling Anil Kumble (1999 against Pakistan) to pick up all the points in turn. Patel, who began his career as a fast bowler, picked up a sharp turn and bounce off the field and carried New Zealand bowling on his shoulders to limit the first innings of the hosts to 325.

After picking up the Wriddhima Sawmill and Ravichandra’s Ashwin wickets in his first installment on Saturday, he returned after a lunch break to take the remaining four to end India’s innings.
