Dylan Goldfarb and Chris Magovern scored one goal and made two passes each, and Nathan Steel increased the score with a pass, leading to a 3-1 ground victory for the Summit at Clary Anderson Arena in Montclair, Montclair.
Miles Fletcher scored a power goal from Mark Rechan’s second round, making Montclair’s (0-3) lead 1-0.
Goldfarb and Magovern both scored in the second set and gave Hilltoppers a 2-1 lead. Summit (0-2) has won two games in a row and beat his opponent 7-2 during that time.
Ryan Cohen rejected 13 wins. Parker Robinson averted 35 losses.
