Mohammad Yousuf praises the continuity in the performances of the Pakistani cricket team

Pakistan’s former legendary striker Mohammad Yousuf has welcomed the continued performance of the Pakistani cricket team after a steady T20 World Cup campaign.

Speaking to the media after attending NAB’s ceremony in Lahore, Yousuf said the team’s performance has improved dramatically since the mega-event.

“Mega events often involve 12 or 14 teams, but there can always be one winner at the end of the day. Even though Pakistan missed out, they should be proud of themselves for the performances they delivered,” said the 47-year-old.

Speaking about the recently completed series of tests against Bangladesh, Yousuf admired the aggressiveness of the Pakistani cricket team after declaring the first set to force the result.

“Even though almost three days were wasted due to the rain in the Dhaka test, the Pakistani team still managed to force the result and it was very impressive due to the way the win was recorded,” Yousuf said.
