The men’s UMD hockey is a big match in the final against Denver

Now the Bulldogs have a few weeks off to reunite and get healthy before they face Minnesota State Mankato at home and at home on December 30th and January 1st.

DULUTH, Minn. – UMD’s men’s hockey team had to make some change to Saturday’s game after dropping three tubes. But they came with the right state of mind, set the tone early, and had a much-needed return.

The Bulldogs quickly started using three goals in the first set, two in the first five minutes, to get a 6-2 win over Denver and force a weekend split. UMD used Jesse Jacques and Kobe Roth multiplayer games as well as added goals from Noah Cates and Blake Biond.

After a 5-0 loss on Friday, the games held a meeting to try to pile up again. And everything they said worked because they avoided sweeping on the weekends.

“Really good answer, really proud of our men. We talked about some things this morning, they had a small meeting just to go through what we could do better. I thought our friends did some things, but getting the lead and getting the goal loose all of me. great job tonight.You have to play well against those teams and I thought our friends got a great response.It’s a great way to take a break, play on a good team and win a good hockey team, head coach Scott Sandelin said.

Now UMD gets a few weeks off to regroup and get healthy before leaving for Minnesota State Mankato at home and at home on December 30th and January 1st.
