Solidarity as #TableTennisUnited Fund continues to support the table tennis community – UKTN

We have a mixed feeling as the year 2021 draws to a close. Unfortunately, Covid-19 is still at the center of our daily lives as new variations evolve at an inconceivable rate. Even in these uncertain times, we are delighted to see table tennis organizations, local clubs and ITTF member associations working to support their community to the best of their ability. As the last #TableTennisUnited update of the year, we want to look at a few other great insiders we’ve supported in 2021.

Saroj 4 All Academy Table Tennis

Lalitpur, Nepal

Naresh Rawal, owner of the academy, ITTF level 2 coach and international referee, teaches and welcomes 21 boys and girls from disadvantaged families. Young players get free table tennis coaching and are encouraged to dream big and one day become professional players.

“I want to show kids and their parents that you can make money playing sports! Thank you to the ITTF and the #TableTennisUnited Fund for trusting me and allowing the Academy to continue to support these children during the pandemic. Zanzibar dating in Tanzania

The local club promotes table tennis as a sport for everyone and uses it as a tool to empower and motivate children in difficult times. During the pandemic, as the situation became more difficult than usual, the club never gave up and even expanded its opportunities to promote table tennis in neighboring communities.

They are now playing more enthusiastically and improving their table tennis skills quickly. YUVEDO Foundation

Berlin, Germany

The YUVEDO Foundation, an organization familiar to our subscribers and a trusted ally of TT4Health, was the organizing committee for the 2021 ITTF Parkinson World Table Tennis Championships (PWTTC) in Berlin.

“People with Parkinson’s must be celebrated, and the YUVEDO Foundation’s mission is to support research and treatment for Parkinson’s. Thanks to the #TableTennisUnited Fund, we brought PWTTC 2021 to Berlin.
