The young cricket fan is confused and bloody after catching the crowd in a Perth Big Bash League match with Hobart.
Hurricanes striker Ben McDermott belted over Scorcher Andrew Tye’s last seventh handover and put it over the fence at six in Hobart.
But unfortunately for the young fan, who got caught under the crowd, the ball flew through his hands and hit him straight in the forehead.
The young man immediately grabbed his face on the lawn of Blundstone Arena as the blood leaked.
Fans of the crowd quickly came to the rescue of the teenager and showed medical help.
“I hope he’s all right,” 7-commentator Jason Richardson said.
“She is in the hands of doctors.
“She was surprised, wasn’t she!”
The Hobart crowd had plenty of catching opportunities as Hurricanes strapped four between nine balls. chasing 183 wins.
