On Friday, the Brooklyn Nets shared a massive update from Kyrie Irving.
The All-Star guard has not played any matches this season, but the situation is changing.
Team CEO Sean Marks ’announcement is reflected in the tweet below.
Irving had been out of the team because he wasn’t eligible to play in home games at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York because of a vaccination authorization from New York City, and the Nets had previously said they would play. doesn’t let him be a part-time player, but that has now changed.
“After discussions with coaches, players and staff, the organization has decided that Kyrie Irving will rejoin the team in the games and drills she is eligible to participate in,” Marks said in a statement.
The news is huge, of course, as the Nets are 21-8 and the top team in the Eastern Conference, and now they’re adding one of the best players in the world to that team.
