The Jesuit won his first state football championship since 1968

The Jesuit Tigers football team had not made it to the state championship final since 1992.

It changed Saturday night in Ft. Lauderdale when they faced Pine Forest for a Class 6A title.

The Jesuit is in 10th place and is invincible.

The second set was 7-7 as Joquez Smith went in the middle, made a couple of handy moves and the Jesuits were 14-7 at the top.

But the pine forest did not go away.

Just before Halftime, it was Tierra Wilson, and QB avoided a kick and then shot the ball into the end zone for Donyell Hayes, who grabbed it for TD.

The Pine forest went for two and took the 15-14 lead at halftime.

The Jesuit was 29-14 and since then the return has begun. Late in the third, Luke Knight found Junior Vandeross at the Tigers finish.

The situation was 29-20 after a failed two-point conversion.

The start of the fourth quarter and Vandeross shook and baked, leaving everyone to miss when he scored again and scored 29-27.

Then, after the two finish lines of the Tigers defense stood, Knight found Jadyn Girard with a short pass and Girard always took it to the 10-yard line of the pine forest.

A few games later, Knight threw to the right and found a guess who … Jadyn Girard’s history and touchdown.

The Jesuit ended his invincible season 15-0.

They beat Pine Forest by a score of 35-29.

It is the first Jesuit state championship since 1968.
