It was a huge weekend for the obscure global pub sport. As you covered the halls and frosted the Christmas cookies, the darts world championships raged in old happy England, and fans were seen pouring jugs of beer on their heads instead of drinking them. Meanwhile, Australia launched The Ashes, an annual series of test crickets between England and their red-hooded cousin in the southern hemisphere. First edition after 2019 for obvious reasons, Aussie fans were ready to celebrate, but no harder than this hero, who bought no more than four beers at a venue at one time and somehow managed to eat them all before returning to their seats.
