Asian hockey powers Pakistan and South Korea teamed up in the first semi-finals of the men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2021 at Dulaka’s Maulana Bhashani Nationa Stadium on Tuesday. In Dhaka this year, Pakistan placed third in the league table and South Korea was ranked No. 2 in the five-team pool. PAK vs KOR winners will face India vs Japan winners in Wednesday’s final.
There is not much choice between Pakistan and Korea. Their round Robin league match ended in a 3-3 draw and both teams have a win. Although Pakistan knocked out their host in Bangladesh 6-2, South Korea’s only victory also came against BAN. The Koreans won 3-2.
