Yasir Shah controversy is not good when Pakistani cricket feels good: Ramiz Raja, Sports News

Ramiz Raja, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), said on Wednesday that the recent controversy over spinner Yasir Shah is not good for cricket in the country.

Shah was charged with an incident registered at the Shalimar Police Station in Islamabad, which allegedly helped rape and harass a 14-year-old minor girl.

In the first registered information report (FIR), the girl said that Yasir Shah’s friend Farhan had allegedly raped her with a gun and then filmed the act, reports geo.tv.

“Yasir Shah is a district player, and it’s an unequivocal thing with whom players should spend time and socialize, when we train and train these players, they’re ambassadors and they should know who and where to socialize.” Raja said as he spoke to the media on Wednesday.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had responded to the whole case: “The PCB is currently collecting data at the end and will only comment if it has complete facts.”

Yasir Shah has played 46 tests in Pakistan and managed to take 235 visits and his best numbers are 8-41.
