BEREA, Ohio – Cleveland Browns have activated quarterback Baker Mayfield on the COVID-19 list, which has officially cleared the way for him to play against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.
Mayfield has been on the COVID list since December 15th. He missed Monday’s match against the Las Vegas Raiders. Due to the 10-day rule, Mayfield will be eligible to play on December 25, even without clearing test protocols.
Browns is also activating widescreen receiver Jarvis Landry, who has also been on the COVID list.
But Cleveland put kicker Chase McLaughlin on the COVID list and activated rookie Chris Naggar off the training team. Naggar is Browns’ kick against Green Bay.
