Women’s Tennis released the spring 2022 schedule

BOILING SPRINGS, NC – Head Coach Announces Gardner-Webb Women’s Tennis Team 2022 Schedule Today Jim Corn. There are 15 matches in the program, the first three of which are played at home.

The season begins on January 16, when GWU welcomes Kennesaw State to the Webb Tennis Complex. ‘Dogs will then have two weeks to their next matches, Limestone (2/1) and Western Carolina (2/5).

After playing the first three at home, the Runnin ‘Bulldogs take the next three paths. This series includes Elon (2/13), UNCW (2/19) and Wofford (2/23).

Gardner-Webb will host Hampton on Feb. 27 and travel to UNC Asheville on March 2 to start the Big South Conference game. The extra-conference schedule ends for the GWU on March 6 against Davidson.

The rest of Runnin ‘Bulldogs’ road matches are Presbyterian (3/10), Longwood (3/20) and Campbell (3/26). The other players left in the GWU are Charleston Southern (3/13), Radford (3/22) and North Carolina A&T (4/2).

The top six teams in the Big South will advance to the conference championship. The first round matches will be played from 15th to 16th. April each match will host higher seeds. The semi-finals and finals of the tournament will be played on April 23 and 24 at Marion Diehl Park in Charlotte, NC.
