Packers may have a chance to grab one of the NFC playoffs on Sunday night

GREEN BAY – It’s possible the Packers could go on the field on Sunday night and get number one in the NFC playoffs, and there’s one other game that matters.

When Green Bay (12-3) and Minnesota (7-8) start in the best possible way at Lambeau Field, the Packers will know the outcome of the Arizona (10-5) match in Dallas (11-4). in the late afternoon of week 17.

The Cowboys remain the biggest threat as the Packers push to the top of the conference, as Dallas has lost just one season all season against NFC competition. Green Bay needs to finish Dallas with a better record to get the No. 1 seed and the playoffs and home field advantage associated with it. A draw for the best record would give Dallas a top spot in terms of breaking conference records.

If the Cowboys lose, the Packers would have a chance to nail one on Sunday night.

If the Cowboys win, the Packers would have to beat the Vikings to stay on top and be able to survive next week’s regular season finals.

So after several weeks of rooting against Arizona, which held the top of the NFC three weeks ago but has now lost three in a row, it’s time encourages the Cardinals to knock out the Cowboys and give Packers a chance to secure first place early.

As for the other NFC 11-4 teams, the Buccaneers and Rams, they would lose all the semifinals with the Packers in the playoffs because Green Bay has a better conference record than Tampa Bay and will beat Los Angeles against each other.

If the Eagles beat Washington and the 49ers beat the Texans, the Packers would step on the field on Sunday night and could actually end the Vikings season.
