These two commitments can make the 2022 class untouched

The Texas A&M football team started the early offseason this year when they dropped out of the Gator Bowl less than two weeks ago. Fortunately for Aggie fans, however, this is not a normal, boring season. In fact, Jimbo Fisher’s elite recruitment should pay for itself and make this one of the best offsets in Aggi’s history.

Speaking of the best stuff in Aggi’s history: A&M’s 2022 recruitment class could be cut as it is, and that would be the best ever. Hell, Fisher’s class is becoming the best recruiting class ever on football teams of all time.

But to reach that state, A&M still needs a couple of dominoes to drop. When I say dominoes, I mean the duo of elite commitments that may happen in the near future.

These three Texas A&M football targets could take Aggies to the 2022 Class God level

In the current situation, the Texas A&M football team is among the top in the country for virtually every recruitment service. 247 Sports gives its grade a grade of 325.14, a figure no other school can achieve. Make no mistake, this team has a top class of 2022, whatever happens.

The remaining question is simple – could this category evolve even more? The answer is not so rhetorical, it is simple yes. In the current situation, there are still a couple of excellent recruits looking for a college football home.

5 star LB Harold Perkins

I’ve talked about Harold Perkins before, but I can’t stress enough how important he would be to this class. The five-star mate from Cypress, Texas, is an amazing athlete and could fill a base left by Aaron Hansford.

In the current situation, linebacker status is a * very * relatively weak point for Aggies. Their most important commitment in the second line of defense is four-star Martrell Harris, who, in the name of honesty, is the best recruited for most college football teams.

Perkins’ accession to A&M would give Aggies a sixth five-star commitment. He plans to announce his commitment on January 2nd.

5 star DL Shemar Stewart

I’m going to sit here and tell you about the ninth-ranked recruiter in the country that could end up on Texas A&M as the team’s fourth most respected engagement. Such an elite 2022 class is right now.

Stewart is a 6’6-inch, 272-pound defensive lineman who can play almost anywhere. Think DeMarvin Leal with greater length and mass. That’s a scary idea.

Aggies already has a handful of elite line of defense commitments – if Jimbo Fisher pulls Stewart, this unit has the potential to be the best college football ever. There is no doubt that there would be no line of attack in the country that could stop them.

Stewart will also announce its commitment on January 2nd.
