According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Gerald Green (Houston Rockets assistant coach) is not retired and plans to join the NBA G League and try to return to the NBA.

Green is 35 years old and has 12 years of NBA experience playing for the Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, Indiana Pacers, New Jersey Nets, Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks and the Rockets.
His career averages are 9.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per match when he shot 36.1 percent from a three-point distance.
His most recent season in the NBA was in 2019, when he played for the Rockets and scored an average of 9.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per game with a 35.4 percent shot from three points.
