Chandigarh. Panjab University won the Table Tennis North Zone Women’s Championship. This competition was held on 5-6. January at Chitkara University in Badd. The PU team was invincible in the race. The team won all their matches in the tournament.
The winning team was congratulated by Professor Prashant Gautam, Director of Sports at the University of Punjab, and Rakesh Malik, Assistant Director of Sports. The PU won the University of Allahabad 3-1 in their first league match. In the second league match, the PU defeated Chandigarh University Mohal 3-1. In the third league match, the PU defeated LPU University Phagwara 3-0.
