Raiders, Steelers reach AFC wild card playoffs

With the noise and tragedy, the Las Vegas Raiders have emerged on the way to the coming season.

The Raiders won the final match of the Los Angeles Chargers regular season on Sunday in 35-32 overtime to earn their first playoff spot since 2016, and the Pittsburgh Steelers also got a wild card, thanks to the result.

The Raiders, who are fifth in the AFC, will open the playoffs on Saturday 4th in Cincinnati Bengals at 4.30pm ET. Seventh-placed Steelers will face 2nd place in the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at 8:15 p.m. ET.

Interim head coach Rich Bisaccian Raiders, who was looking to win his post-season ticket, got fourth in a row. In this process, the Raiders (10-7) eliminate rival Chargers (9-8) from the post-season race.

It was a historic victory for Bisaccia, who became the first interim coach to lead the team in the playoffs during the Super Bowl era. The Raiders are 6-5 after Bisaccia took power after Jon Gruden resigned.

Las Vegas won 6-7 to the Kansas City Chiefs after a 48-9 loss in week 14, its fifth loss in six games. But the Raiders have regrouped in an amazing way and won a series of nail bites to stay in the playoffs.

As for the Steelers (9-7-1), they beat the Baltimore Ravens earlier in the day, and the Chargers victory and the Indianapolis Colts defeat led them. After Colts ’loss, Pittsburgh’s victory reached a post-season finish as long as the Chargers-Raiders game didn’t end in a draw.
