Karl Stefanovic has distributed an all-time spray to a Russian tennis star who passed Nick Kyrgios at the Australian Open.
The Today Show presenter did not downplay his words on Friday, noting that his “accountant has a better personality” than Daniil Medvedev.
It came after the world’s number one player accused the Melbourne Park crowd of “low IQ” after winning four sets at the Rod Laver Arena in the second round.
“Daniil Medvedev, my accountant has a better character,” Stefanovic told the audience.
“Daniil Medvedev, he makes Ivan Lendlin look like Beyoncel. Daniil Medvedev, Terminator 4 had more expressions.

The Russian runner-up composed his hope for local hope against Nick Kyrgios – but then he flew into the crowd in Melbourne Park because of their inappropriateness.
He added: “Insulting the fans in such a way that they didn’t actually entice him. He misunderstood what was going on.
Stefanovic was not yet ready, but later joked with treasurer Josh Frydenberg that Medvedev should have been deported, unlike Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic after his visa revocation.
Medvedev, 25, was at times a robot against Kyrgios, who himself at one point shouted to the audience, “Can you stop shouting while I serve.”
But when Medvedev talked to American tennis giant Jim Courier after his hard win, Medvedev brought out what he considered raging spectators.
‘Sorry, I can’t hear you. Show a little respect, “Medvedev said in the tense scenes.
‘Thanks mates. Let him talk, please. If you respect someone, at least respect Jim Courier.
Channel 9 commentator Courier, who won two Australian Open championships in his glittering career, then tried to clarify with Medvedev that he was certainly not enticed by a furious audience.
He believes spectators mimic football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo when scoring a “siuuuu”.
After an awkward court interview, Medvedev continued to write “siuuuu” on the camera lens.
Medvedev later told Eurosport: “It is only a little disappointing when they (the crowds) keep so much noise between the first and second serving. I think some people have only a low IQ.
Kyrgios said he later understood why Medevdev was frustrated before adding an audience created an “awesome” vibe.
“I realize it’s a gentleman’s game, but it’s time for people to embrace some different kind of energy in this sport, otherwise it’s going to die out. It’s just that simple,” he said.

Even Kyrgios found himself frustrated and asked the audience at Rod Laver Arena to be quiet while he was serving.
